First and foremost I am a career soldier and I really love what do and have done so far. The Army has been good to a dude despite the ignorance that gets tossed at us by people who have never laced up a pair boots other than Timberlands. I'm not profoundly patriotic but I will say this because I have been to and lived in a few foreign countries, there's no other place you would rather be despite our issues. Fools are doing ok and really don't know it.
I'm going to drop some stuff that bothers me a bit directed at cats who don't understand how the game we play works. Not everyone is going to deploy immediately due to career paths or specialized assignments. Recognize the needs of the tactical and institutional side of the hustle. There are cats that need to acquire recruits, train recruits and instruct them on basic soldiering and job skills. Now if you don't understand that then read up. A right soldier patch doesn't bring you instant creditability. Remember if you weren't on point before you hit the two way rifle range you won't be when you get back unless you make a concerted effort to get your shot group tight. It's not because you went that warrants you a promotion it's what you did while you were there that warrants you a promotion. Enough of that. Respect the game!
